The Business in Gwinnett Expo and Job Fair, sponsored by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, is slated for Thursday, August 21st. The day-long event includes a trade show featuring local businesses, a job fair, with over 100 companies actively recruiting for positions, business building seminars, and the Chamber's monthly Business After Hours.
The event runs from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and admission is free. Event highlights include:
11:30 AM at Gwinnett Center. This month's speaker is Congressman John Linder. $45 in advance, or $55 at the door.
Beginning at 1:00, local businesses provide product and service demonstrations. The business showcase is divided into sections, including technology, health care, hospitality, general business, and more.
Over 100 local companies will be recruiting and interviewing for all types of positions, from entry level to upper management.
